The range of applications of organic compounds is enormous and organic chemistry overlaps with many areas, including medicinal chemistry, biochemistry, organometallic chemistry, polymer chemistry and many aspects of materials science. Leads to the Organic Chemistry master’s degree program at Oregon State University.
After successfully completing the Pathway program and any additional requirements, you can enter an OSU graduate program. This transition to university from an INTO program is called progression.
You must meet the following Oregon State University Pathway Progression criteria in order to progress:
3.0 GPA cumulative in all Pathway courses and C (or Pass) or higher grades in all Pathway courses
B or higher grades in all English language courses
Standardized Test Requirements:
Graduate Record Examination (GRE) quantitative score of 152 or higher. There are no other GRE requirements.
