The Bachelor of Social Science at Western Sydney University is specifically designed to be flexible. With only eight core units across the three years, it allows you to choose your own major and sub-majors, and allows the flexibility for you to change majors without compromising your degree. There are seven majors that are available for our social science students: Anthropology, Child and Community, Criminology and Criminal Justice, Geography and Urban Studies, Heritage and Tourism, Peace and Development Studies, Sociology, Psychology (higher ATAR required for entry)
Each major will have units that are required, so you can graduate with specialised knowledge in your chosen area, but also with the option of further knowledge in a second field.
